The Blood Tribe Hockey League is preparing to hit the ice for its founding season at Blood Tribe Twin Rinks.
Operated by Good Movement Ltd., the new league will run from September 2026 to March 2027, offering competitive and recreational hockey opportunities for adult and youth players. Team registration is now open, with several divisions planned for the inaugural season.
League Divisions
The Blood Tribe Hockey League is anticipated to include:
Iron Sharpens Iron League
Adult Recreation League
35+ League
Female League
Youth 3-on-3 League for U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18 players
Final divisions and league formats will be determined based on registration numbers.
A Complete League Experience
The Blood Tribe Hockey League is being developed to provide players and teams with an organized, professionally managed season at Blood Tribe Twin Rinks.
League features are anticipated to include:
Up to 30 regular-season games
Double-elimination playoffs
Certified officials
Timekeepers
League standings
Championship trophies
Individual awards
Competitive and recreational divisions
Games are expected to take place on weekday and weekend evenings, generally between 5 and 10 p.m. Schedules and the number of games may vary depending on final registration numbers.
Youth 3-on-3 Hockey
The Youth 3-on-3 League will provide a fun, fast-paced format designed to maximize puck touches, skill development and game experience.
Divisions are planned for players from U7 through U18. The league format, number of games and scheduling for each age group will be confirmed based on registration numbers.
Registration Fees
Estimated registration fees for the adult leagues are approximately $4,000 to $4,500 per team, depending on the number of registered teams in each division.
Registration for the Youth 3-on-3 League is estimated at approximately $300 to $350 per player, depending on the number of players registered to each team. Individual player costs may decrease as additional players are added to a team’s roster.
Final registration fees and additional league information will be communicated directly to team managers following the registration deadline.
